The Grand Opening of the Boulevard of Francophonie and Family Sports Complex in Masis

On June 25, 2019, the Masis Development Fund, with the support of AFFA (Adibekyan Family Foundation for Advancement), officially opened the Francophonie Boulevard and Family Sports Complex in Masis, Ararat province. The event was organized by the Masis youth initiative and aimed to expand international relations with the francophone countries.

The representatives of the Armenian government and local authorities, international and non-governmental organizations, as well as the embassies, along with both local and foreign media, attended the opening ceremony.

The event received such an incredible response from media and authorities thanks to the long-term projects implemented by the AFFA Foundation and the Masis Development Fund. Among these projects are the constructions of the family sports complex, which aims to promote sports and healthy lifestyles for children and adults, and the Francophonie Boulevard as a cultural center designed for the organization of leisure and international communication programs.

Long-term projects include the organization of advanced French language courses at schools of Masis, as well as the construction of the Youth Center to support the accomplishment of youth initiatives and the development of self-management and leadership skills among them. In addition to the above-mentioned projects, it is also planned to open a branch of TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Masis.
