The first book festival on Boulevard of Francophonie in Masis

The first Book Festival took place in Masis on October 16. It was organized by the Masis Development Fund, under the auspices of AFFA (Adibekyan Family Foundation for Advancement).

The event itself was not a casual one for the citizens, so they participated in it with great enthusiasm.

Romances, essays, comics, and fiction books were exhibited on the Boulevard.

Participants discovered new authors and literature for themselves by visiting the library corner at the french cafe «Brasserie», which was peculiarly equipped for this particular event. They had an opportunity to take a closer look at Guy de Maupassant's writings during the literature talks dedicated to his works.

Several interactive activities were organized for the participants of the event. For example, a creative game: the players had to draw a map of Masis, marking the main places: the Boulevard of Francophonie, the sports complex, the French cafe «Brasserie» and so on.

Such festivals not only introduce youth to the French culture but also develop love for the world literature and eager to learn and develop through reading.
